Thanks Sam. My reasoning was exactly the same - we were wrong for the right reasons! Do you have any sense of any stirrings among the elite. They must be pretty alarmed as to where this is leading. If sanctions stay during the course of a long insurgency the economy will be ruined.
This is an insane scale of invasion that was clearly doomed to failure to anyone who had a grasp of the facts/reality. It seems that Putin bought his own BS, though. And millions will suffer because of that.
